PSA Corporate Identity

PUSHING FOR INCLUSION IN THE OLYMPICS

Sharp, fast and physical is probably the best description you can give to squash but that is also representative of many other sports. What differentiates squash, in particular from other racket sports, is the confined space it is played in and the classic postures and stances that players take when playing shots. This set our creative criteria for the identity in using an iconic player stance that could not be mistaken for anything else but a squash player which was reinforced with the inclusion of the confining walls of a squash court.

 

 

The three versions of the logo using the PSA player, acronym and full descriptor allowed for flexibility whilst making sure that the sport covered by the organisation was unmistakable. Typefaces and corporate colours supported by a set of brand guidelines were used to brand the PSA corporate website and essential to the corporate identity was how it could be adapted to represent the PSA’s current and future sub-brands.
